Emet's first "step"

OK, misleading title - he hasn't officially walked yet (though he is cruising and crawling).  But this is the first step he stepped up - the stool by Eden's potty...

Eden Improvising a Story

Eden has developed quite an imagination!  And she clearly has the knack for the dynamics and suspenseful storytelling techniques.  Here is a story she improvised at dinner tonight.  We had made up a character called "Grabbit the Rabbit," and said we need ot made a book about him - so Eden didn't waste a second!  She launched right in....

You can see elements of Eric's books with the "ooooh noooo", and The Great Big Plop and even Eric's upcoming Nut Family book called Keep Rolling.

Emet's First Days of School!

Emet started at Ahava the Friday before Labor Day!  He seemed to do pretty well, though he didn't sleep much, eat much and needed to be held most of the time.  But not bad for a first day :-)

This last week, his teachers said he was much more comfortable -  exploring the classroom on his own, taking nice naps, eating plenty....
