OK, tonight was I think Eden's 4th poop in the bathtub. I pulled her out, cleaned her off, washed her hands, brushed her teeth & then she said on her own accord... "I pooped!"
Yep. Hard to know if she actually got the past tense - highly doubtful - but it did sound exactly like "I pooped." :-)
This video shows me trying to get her to say it again - of course I missed the spontaneous moment :-)
Eden shocked us today when we asked her to do 3 claps, and she actually said "one, two, three" with her claps. We didn't catch that on video, but here she is counting birds in a book.
Wow, Eden's verbal skills have really blossomed in the last couple of weeks. She generally imitates many things you say. And she even said her first sentences ("Hi Daddy!" and "No Daddy") And she's also really improved at walking on steps and climbing. She's becoming a little person!
Here she is answering the call & response parts in Pete The Cat I Love My White Shoes:
She can recognize stop signs, and understands "stop and go" as a fun game:
She climbed the ladder and went down the slide by herself at the zoo playground and at the Children's Museum.
She walked up stairs at the zoo by herself without holding on to anything or scooting (no video of that, but here she is goes up stairs at Spoon Restaurant):
Here are a couple of breakfast videos:
And she ate with a spoon by herself!
