Eden's Wild Weekend!

Eden's now sitting up comfortably, reaching for things, rolling over and eating tons of solid foods!  Here are some pics & vids from her wild weekend...

Early intervention evaluation

As I mentioned in my recent update, we had Eden evaluated by early intervention because she wasn't rolling in either direction.  Although there is a wide range of normal, every milestone questionnaire I looked at said to contact a doctor if baby was not rolling by this age.  She rolled a handful of times around 4 months, but hasn't done it much since.  My thought was, she had that hip dysplasia thing, she was cleared - but maybe they got it wrong and she has some very slight issues, and needs some physical therapy.  (Feel free to keep reading below.)

Big bow little bow

Bubbe got Eden a big bow, a hat with a bow, and two little bow clips.  We played dress up with them this weekend (Mommy got the little bow, because Eden doesn't have enough hair for the clips yet).

Eden's first day in the jumper

OK, technically we tried a different jumper in a narrower doorway when she was 4 months old.  On her 2nd bounce she lurched sideways and her head went straight into the doorframe.

We're so trendy!

Another recent observation - almost every time I tell someone new our daughter's name, the response is: "I love that name!" and then rattling off at least one person (sometimes three or four) they know who recently named a baby Eden.

And not that we would choose to call her by her middle name for this reason, but she's got a middle name susceptible to a trendy nickname too:

Eden update

In the interest of documenting, here are a few things going on with Eden lately.  She is a delight and we are grateful for her every day!

7 months!

Eden is 7 months old today!  Notice anything different?  

Daddy folded up the bed, and now the panda's on the floor - and so is Eden (sitting by herself)!

Not quite ready to move, maybe in the next few months!
